After running a successful mobile repair business for several years, it was time to move into a building. In 2002 we coordinated with John Bassous, of Tierra Verde Builders, to complete our project. They took our thoughts and turned them into a turnkey building.

In 2002 we found some land to build on, John & his team got busy.

This looks like a nice flat level piece of ground to build on.

Drilling the well.

This was going to be our future work place for several years. Wow, Dave had a dark hair back them.

The building is partially erected, it looked cavernous.

The building is completed, now the work starts.

Move in day, the completed shop was huge and clean, we were excited to get started.

Our Mobile Repair customers followed us to the new location.

This was a cross country bus that was converted to a Motor Home.

It was not long before the shop was full of vehicles.

No shop is complete without a “guard” dog, we were not sure what he “guarded”. But, he was great at welcoming people.

We thought we had built the building large enough to fit everything we wanted to put into it.

Turns out we were wrong, at least we were able to put the part we were working on, inside.

It’s been said that we work on anything with wheels.

Another satisfied customer, leaving the shop.

Our grandson Austin had aspirations of being an equipment operator. He wanted to run the big backhoe, unfortunately, he will have to wait a few years.

Good thing this unit its own jacks so we could pick it up.

Here is a 1973 MCI Challenger bus conversion and a 1970 Subaru 360. This was one of the first vehicles Subaru imported into the USA. Can you imagine Dave curling up, to get inside that little red thing?

This turned a few eyes when it was parked outside.

This old Packard was interesting to work on. Surprisingly, we were able to get any part we needed for it.

Custom car

This gentleman brought us a custom car he had designed and built. The engine had developed a misfire, 3 other shops were unable to diagnose the problem. We figured the issue out, a bad fuel injector.

In order to stay up to date on the new vehicle technology’s we spend quite a bit of time getting trained. We also host training for other shops in the area.
